Chris Bradburn

Chris Bradburn is a director in the Real Estate Services Group at Katz, Sapper & Miller and has been with the firm since 1998. Chris leads KSM's cost segregation practice which is a formal, engineering-based tax service that identifies and allocates the cost components of commercial real estate. As part of providing cost segregation services Chris is responsible for the detailed analysis of architectural drawings, identification of eligible building components, and application of relevant tax law.

Chris serves as KSM's primary resource with regard to "green" tax incentives, credits, deductions and sustainable building practices. He consults with clients regarding the economic returns of investment in green technologies, including the performance of detailed after-tax financial analysis necessary to evaluate capital expenditure options.

Chris provides accounting and tax support for a wide variety of businesses. He is responsible for preparing client financial statements and tax returns, in addition to providing other general business and accounting services. Chris frequently participates in special projects, including consultation and analysis related to business incentives, historic rehabilitation tax credits, tax increment financing and property tax abatement.

Chris graduated from Indiana University with degrees in English Literature and Philosophy (with distinction). He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, and Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. He serves on the Boy Scouts of America (Crossroads Council) Finance Committee, and is treasurer of The Writers' Center of Indiana.
